All athletes must check-in prior to competing. Check-in will be located on the Northwest side of the Cowtown Coliseum.

If you have not had your head shot taken before with WCRA, come to check-in wearing full dress code so we can take your head shot.

Stall and RV Reservations:

• Stalls, RV’s, and Shavings will be available at www.openstalls.com
• Stalls will be located in the Moncrief Building, as well as the stall office
• Shavings will be available for purchase from both Open Stalls and Will Rogers Memorial Center.
• Stall office will be open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Absolutely NO OUTSIDE SHAVINGS OR TYING HORSES OUT
  • a penalty fine up to $500 may be assessed by Open Stalls.
• Shavings request from Open Stalls after hours may not be fulfilled until next day, depending on time and availability.

Parking at Cowtown Coliseum will be available in Lot 5 (Dirt Lot located next to Billy Bobs)

Livestock Draw, Competition Order and Splits:

• Cattle will be drawn at least two hours prior to the start of the competition
• Tie Down stock preparation 4 pm- 4:45 pm
• Timed event cattle will be ran through 4:45 pm -5:30 pm

VRQ POINTS CHAMPION BONUS RULES

Reliance Ranches VRQ Year End Points Champion Bonus details:

Event World Points are elevated points at a 4x multiplier from standard points that count towards the $225,000 VRQ Points Champions Bonus Leaderboard. These points will be available to athletes who compete at the Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo held on December 14-17.

Event World Points are not VRQ leaderboard points and only apply to the final WCRA event of the year and the Reliance Ranches VRQ Points Champion Bonus. Athletes may voluntarily nominate the Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo towards a different segment, such as Segment RCC23 (Rodeo Corpus Christi), to earn standard VRQ points toward that segment.

The timeframe for the Reliance Ranches VRQ Points Champion Bonus will begin April 11, 2022 and conclude at the 2022 Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo on December 17, 2022.

The collective $225,000 award will be available to all athletes who nominated their 2022 rodeo efforts in their respected discipline (bareback riding, steer wrestling, heading, heeling, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing and bull riding) through the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ) in the following segments:

• 2022 Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo
• 2022 Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo
• 2023 Women’s Rodeo World Championship (as of 11/27/22)
• 2023 Rodeo Corpus Christi (as of 11/27/22)

The cash bonuses will be awarded based on total cumulative points earned across all segments, including the World Points available at December’s Cowtown Christmas Championship. As of April 11, 2022, all points that athletes earned in a nomination segment will put them in a leaderboard race for a chance to earn the $25,000 cash bonus in their discipline.

VRQ POINTS CHAMPION BONUS RULES

Rough stock dressing room will be located under the grandstands on the NE side of the arena.

The restrooms behind the bucking chutes are closed for remodel.

• Each athlete will receive ONE ticket for the night of the athlete’s scheduled performance
