The first one-day $1,000,000 WCRA Major Rodeo of 2020 will be hosted on February 28 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri – The WCRA Royal City Roundup.

The Days of ’47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo

July 20-24, 2020

For the third year in a row, WCRA will revisit the $17.5-million-dollar Days of ’47 outdoor arena July 20-24 for the Days of ’47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo. The top WCRA Athletes on the leaderboard will have the chance to win a gold medal along with a piece of the $1,125,000 payout at the Salt Lake City event.

August 28, 2020

Tacoma, Washington will play host to the final major of 2020 when the inaugural WCRA Puget Sound Showdown takes place on August 28 at the Tacoma Dome. The world’s best will compete for more than $111,000 per discipline, with the champions walking away with a minimum of $50,000 each.

The 2019 Komatsu Equipment Days of ‘47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo presented by Zions Bank

July 19-24, 2019

For the second year in a row, WCRA returns to DO47 where the top 20 from the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ) will earn qualifications in their discipline. The only exception is in the bull riding: due to a partnership with the PBR.

For the first time in the city of Green Bay, an unforgettable weekend of western sports action will combine the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) in three days of on-the-dirt action. PBR’s elite series will debut at Resch Center for two days of epic rides and wrecks. Sandwiched between the PBR event, WCRA, a new marquee rodeo, will bring its own brand of western sports excitement to the popular bull-riding event. The WCRA Titletown Stampede – a One-Day $1 Million Major Rodeo – will be WCRA’s second major of 2019.

Windy City Roundup

World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) in collaboration with Professional Bull Riders (PBR) is pleased to announce that Chicago will play host to the first WCRA $1 Million Major Rodeo in the 2019 series. For the first time in history, world-class rodeo will storm Chicago when 81 of the world’s top rodeo athletes will compete in WCRA’s Windy City Roundup at Allstate Arena on Friday, January 11.

The Komatsu Equipment Days of ‘47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo presented by Zions Bank

In July 2018 in Salt Lake City WCRA and DO47 held their first $1-million rodeo in which athletes utilized the WCRA Virtual Qualifier to earn one of 20 spots in their respective discipline.

The top 50 in WCRA points (as well as the top 16 in average from the quarter-finals)  in each discipline will compete at the $500,000 guaranteed payout Semi-Finals, May 15-19 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma.


2018 Lazy E – WCRA S1 Semi-Finals

November 15-18

More than $617,000 was paid out to rodeo athletes as the World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) concluded their semi-finals rounds in Guthrie, Oklahoma at the Lazy E Arena. The five-day event paid out earnings to cowboys and cowgirls from around the globe and out of more than 600, 80 athletes advanced to the $1 Million Major Rodeo (Windy City Roundup) on January 11 at Allstate Arena in Chicago.

2019 Lewis Feild Bulls and Broncs

FEBRUARY 2, 2019

Roughstock contestants will have a new and unique qualifying opportunity through the WCRA, as the top 12 in VRQ points as of January 28 will qualify to compete in the 2019 Lewis Feild Bulls and Broncs presented by Komatsu Equipment in Salt Lake City on February 2 at the Maverik Center. This rough stock only event features a $45,000 purse and no entry fees. The top two in each event at the Lewis Feild Bulls & Broncs will receive an exemption into both the final round of the May 15-19 Semi-Finals, champions will go to the $1,000,000 Days of ’47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo in Salt Lake City on July 19-24.

WCRA Rodeo Showdown

As the afternoon came to a close and the dust settled at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, the WCRA crowned its first event champions at its inaugural $400,000 rodeo in Las Vegas.
