UPCOMING SEMI-FINALS | $500,000 EVENT

The Semi-Finals Events will be conducted in locations and at times annually that are determined by the WCRA Majors schedule and other factors.

Each WCRA Semi-Final Event qualifies the contestants for each WCRA Major event.

Each WCRA Semi-Final event will pay a minimum of $500,000 in prize money.

2018 Lazy E – WCRA S1 Semi-Finals

November 15-18

Hundreds of rodeo athletes from all over the country will converge on Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma to battle for $500,000 and their chance to compete in Sacramento in the first WCRA Major of 2019.

UPCOMING MAJORS | $1,000,000 EVENTS

WCRA will create and execute four (4) WCRA Major events annually beginning in 2019.

WCRA events will be held quarterly each year.

WCRA events will be held in conjunction with major PBR events.

PBR will produce & promote the WCRA Major events.

Each WCRA Major will feature a minimum of $1,000,000 in prize money available to the contestants.

The 3 WCRA Majors will almost double the number of regular season rodeos that offer at least $1,000,000 in prize money.

2019 Sacramento WCRA Rodeo Showdown

January 2019

The first Major of the 2019 WCRA Major Rodeo Series will take place “Out West” in the heart of Sacramento, California and Golden 1 Center will host the best Cowboys in the world as we crown 2019’s first WCRA Major Champions!

Held each July in Salt Lake City will be the first $1-million rodeo in 2018 in which athletes can utilize the newly unveiled WCRA Virtual Qualifier to earn one of 20 spots in their respective discipline.The only exception is in the bull riding: due to a previously announced partnership with the PBR, only four bull-riding positions will be available via the WCRA Virtual Qualifier.
