Since launching in May of 2018, the World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) and its partners have awarded millions in new money to rodeo athletes. Qualifying is based on points, rather than dollars won, through our world ranking points system.
The WCRA is a professional sport and entertainment entity, created to develop and advance the sport of rodeo by aligning all levels of competition. In association with PBR, WCRA produces major rodeo events, developing additional opportunities for rodeo industry competitors, stakeholders and fans.
Gary brings storied leadership experience from the energy sector to WCRA. He owns the Lazy E Facilities in Guthrie, OK and Reliance Ranches a widely successful Quarter Horse Racing and Performance Horse operation.
4X World Champion Bareback Rider. 15 consecutive National Finals Rodeo appearances and nearly $3 million in career earnings. He has deep knowledge of the rodeo industry and seeks to bring positive change through WCRA.

Sami Jo has a rich history in the western sports industry, providing event management and athlete relations services to several reputable events including Group W Production’s All In Barrel Race, Days of ’47 Rodeo, and The American.
Kyle JonesDirector Communications
Kyle brings a diverse marketing and communications background to WCRA. He spent five years in the G-League and NBA, working for the Sacramento Kings. He is passionate about effective communications and is excited to advance WCRA’s mission.
Casey DugganDirector of Rodeo Operations and Administration
Casey Duggan joins the WCRA as after a long rich history in the western sports industry. Duggan most recently has spent the last eight and a half years with Professional Bull Riders (PBR), where he served as director of special events.

After 30 years in the rodeo arena, five-time world champion bullfighter, Rob Smets joins the WCRA Staff leading the charge in the alliance partner relations department.

Dale has spent the last four years with Priefert Rodeo and Ranch Equipment. After starting the podcast and social media site “Pro Rodeo Insider”, he connects with the WCRA team to ensure athletes and alliances receive the best experience possible.
