All athletes who nominate their 2024-25 rodeo efforts and earn cumulative leaderboard points in their respective disciplines through the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ) towards a 2024-25 WCRA event will be eligible to win the bonus.
Payout is as follows:
- First Place: $25,000
- Second Place: $10,000
- Third Place: $7,500
- Fourth Place: $2,500
Nominations must occur during the following periods to be eligible for VRQ points toward that year’s VRQ Champion Program:
- 2024-25 VRQ Champion Program: September 11, 2023 – April 6, 2025
Bonus Event World Points will be available to Athletes that qualify, enter and participate at the eligible program events as listed in the ground rules for each WCRA/WRWC event [and Athletes] will be automatically eligible to earn Event World Points without a nomination for any disciplines at the event.
Bonus Event World Points – Finale (WCRA RODEO CORPUS CHRISTI): Elevated Bonus Event World Points (4X multiplier) will be available to Athletes that qualify, enter and participate at the WCRA Rodeo Corpus Christi, held on May 7-10, 2025 [and Athletes] will be automatically eligible to earn Event World Points without a nomination for any disciplines at the event. The Qualifying Rounds are not eligible for Event World Points at the Finale event.
