Stall Location: Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds
Please go to www.openstalls.com to reserve your stalls and RV spots. Please note, on behalf of the Rodeo Corpus Christi committee complimentary stalls will be provided Wednesday through Saturday night. Any stalls booked Wednesday through Saturday night will be discounted at checkout online in Open Stalls, so please pay attention at the checkout screen to see the discounted stalls Please note: 2 bags of shavings will be included for anyone booking Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday night. Shavings are not included if booking only complimentary stalls Wednesday – Saturday night.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT RESERVATIONS:
- Your designated checkout date is the last day you can use the stall.
- No outside shavings are allowed and stalls are concrete with stall mats.
- No refunds on ANY reservations. Only book if you are sure you are coming.
HEALTH PAPERS:
- All contestants with horses must have proof of current health papers issued within 30 days and a current Coggins test within the previous 12 months. Health requirement papers must not expire while the animal is on the grounds. NOTE: Brand inspector will be on-site, so be prepared to show your papers!

- Timed Events stock will be drawn at least two hours prior to the start of the competition.
- Riding Events stock for both the Progressive Round and Showdown Round will be drafted at 5 p.m. nightly at Brewster Street Ice House.
- The stock will be drafted in order of the athlete’s WCRA Leaderboard qualification per performance (highest position picks first).
- Athletes must be present at 4:30 p.m. prior to the start of the performance to draft their stock. If not present, the stock will be randomly drawn for the athlete after the draft concludes.

- The stock will be drafted in order of the athlete’s WCRA Leaderboard qualification per performance (highest position picks first).

PRACTICE TIMES:
- Steer Roping cattle will be ran through on Saturday, May 7. More information will be distributed via text as we confirm a time.
- Tie-Down calves will be tied on Saturday, May 8. (following the Steer Roping).
- Open arena will be available at Robstown in the morning until 8:30am. And then following all scheduled competition or cattle preparation.
ORDER OF EVENTS:
Sunday – SR (all rounds)
Monday – SW Round 1 & 2, TR Round 1 & 2, TD Rounds 1 & 2
Tuesday – Barrel Racing Round 1, BAW Rounds 1 & 2
HOSPITALITY:
- Robstown – Athlete hospitality will be available for breakfast and lunch. A concession stand is also available to purchase additional food and drinks if desired.
ATHLETE PARKING AT AMERICAN BANK CENTER:
- There is an assigned location for athlete Please follow the signs to the designated area and make sure you park in your designated space. A location to fill water is available onsite and a dumpster is provided to empty any waste (i.e. shavings and manure).
- Trailer parking is on a dirt lot under Hwy 181. It is located near the Brewster Street Ice House. There is a map included at the end of this document.
- Non-Trailer parking – with your parking pass you are allowed to park in any festival lot.
- Parking passes will be distributed to you based on your performance day(s). Each athlete will be sent a text on their performance day(s) with the daily parking pass.
LOCKER ROOMS:
- Contestant locker rooms and a training room will be available.
TICKETS/ADMISSION:
- You are entitled to one (1) companion ticket for the performance you are entered in. At check-in you will be asked if you will be using this ticket. If you do, only one will be issued. Any additional tickets needed will be available for purchase at the box office or via bucdays.com. If you arrive on a day you are not scheduled to compete, they will sell you a ticket for that night. Chute access will only be available to contestants up in that performance.
Horse Warm Up area:
- There will be a small dirt pad on the docks of the American Bank Center to exercise your horses. Unfortunately, there is no open arena access prior to the performances at the American Bank Center.
HOSPITALITY:
- American Bank Center – A meal for contestants and one guest will be served in the hospitality tent outside the dock gates., from 5 – 7pm each night and 1-3pm on Sunday. The area is only open to RCC staff and contestants scheduled for that night’s performance and their guest. A wristband, which will be in your contestant packet, will be required for admittance to the area.
ORDER OF EVENTS:
- The order of competition is scheduled as: Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Women’s Breakaway Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding.
PRESENTATIONS:
- During the Triple Crown of Rodeo Round, Saturday, May 14th the champion in each discipline will be presented after each discipline. All winners are required to participate in the
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
- Pyro will be used during the opening for each performance.
- Timed Event Athletes– do not walk through the arena to view stock prior to performance. Please use the locker room hallways to access the TE pens.
- A small dirt pad will be used for warm-up and staging. There will be no staging horses inside the arena.
