Wild Card Round – May 7-8 – 7:00 PM (a portion of the Wild Card round will be held during the DY Showcase on performance on May 7.)
Progressive Round 1 – May 9 – 7:00 PM
Progressive Round 2 – May 10 – 7:00 PM
Showdown & Triple Crown of Rodeo Rounds – May 11 – 7:00 PM
Leaderboard #1-8 RCC24 Leaderboard athletes will be seeded into the progressive rounds May 9th & 10th. Progressive round athletes are NOT eligible to participate in the Wild Card Round.
Leaderboard #9 – 20 RCC24 Leaderboard athletes will begin competition in the Wild card round May 7th – 8th.
4 Generic Qualifiers from Last Chance Qualifier events will begin competition in the Wildcard round May 7th- 8th.If a designated qualifier event does not have an eligible qualifier, the competition position/s will be filled by the next eligible athlete on the RCC24 Leaderboard.
#1-8 DY Junior leaderboard athletes are eligible to enter the DY Showcase event May 7th.

If the WCRA does not have a W9 on file, our team will be sending out a W9 via Dropbox sign to your email. This form is completed online and automatically submitted back to our team. Please complete this form prior competition.
Athletes that are over 18 years of age that are competing in the Rodeo Corpus Christi (not DY Showcase) are eligible to declare for the Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo. The first and second place athletes from the May 11th Rodeo Corpus Christi Triple Crown of Rodeo round, will qualify to the 2024 WCRA Kid Rock N Roll Rodeo Team, “The Free Riders” (All disciplines, except Bull Riding). The Bull Riding champion will be invited to the PBR redemption round. The event takes place May 17th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
More information regarding Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo will be distributed next week.
Minor athletes must complete the release form and must be signed by a legal parent or guardian. Athletes must bring an ID card or copy of their birth certificate on site to verify the athletes DOB. This information can be sent in advance to [email protected] or completed onsite prior to competition.

May 7-11 Performances
Time: 3:30 pm- 6:00 pm
Location: American Bank Center, through the loading dock entry. Please refer to the map below.

Wild Card Round athletes are eligible to make one trade. Each athlete must submit their trades to Eva Chadwick- 602-672-8660.
Timed Event cattle will be drawn at least two hours prior to the start of the competition. The draw will be text out following the stock draft (Progressive and Showdown rounds).
Splits must be submitted no less than one hour before competition begins.
Goat prep- 6 fresh goats, athletes will be able to set the extras.

Openstalls.com, if they reserve ahead of time and office is no longer operating, we will leave that particular stall or stalls open and have it labeled with the appropriate customer name.
All contestants with horses must have proof of current health papers issued within 30 days and a current Coggins test within the previous 12 months. Health requirement papers must not expire while the animal is on the grounds.
There are several hotels in the area. Availability will be limited, book in advance.

Buc Days Festival Information HERE
American Bank Center- Meeting Room C107– A meal for contestants and one guest will be served from 5 – 7pm each night. The area is only open to RCC staff and contestants scheduled for that night’s performance and their guest. A wristband, which will be in your contestant packet, will be required for admittance to the area.
Trailer parking is on a dirt lot under Hwy 181. It is located near the Brewster Street Ice House.
Non-Trailer parking – with your parking pass you are allowed to park in any festival lot.
There is an assigned location for athlete parking, follow the signs to the designated area and make sure you park in your designated space. A location to fill water is available onsite and a dumpster is provided to empty any waste (i.e. shavings and manure).
Parking passes will be distributed to you based on your performance day(s). Each athlete will be sent a text on their performance day(s) with the daily parking pass.

Designated men’s locker room will be available in American Bank Center, past the secretary office.
You are entitled to one (1) companion ticket for the performance you are entered in. At check-in you will be asked if you will be using this ticket. If you do, only one will be issued. Any additional tickets needed will be available for purchase at the box office or via bucdays.com. If you arrive on a day you are not scheduled to compete, they will sell you a ticket for that night. Chute access will only be available to contestants up in that performance.
There will be a small dirt pad on the docks of the American Bank Center to exercise your horses. Unfortunately, there is no open arena access prior to the performances at the American Bank Center.
Open arena for Barrel Racers will be 7:30- 9 am daily.
On May 7 the last 30 minutes will be designated to youth pole bending
During the Triple Crown of Rodeo Round, Saturday, May 11th the champion in each discipline will be presented after each discipline. All winners are required to participate in the presentation.
Pyro will be used during the opening for each performance.
Timed Event Athletes– do not walk through the arena to view stock prior to performance. Please use the locker room hallways to access the TE pens.
A small dirt pad will be used for warm-up and staging. There will be no staging horses inside the arena.
Timed event cattle run through 3:30 pm daily.
Tie Down cattle prep- 4 pm daily.
