Nominate, Win, You’re In (NWYI) Guidelines:

  1. In order to be eligible to win the NWYI qualification, the winner must have nominated and been the overall winner from the eligible event.
  2. If the overall winner from the eligible event did not nominate, no qualification will be given from that event.

Team Roping Guidelines for NWYI Qualifications:

  1. If a header AND heeler both nominate and win the NWYI event – they are both qualified to advance to the WRWC Fast Track pool

(Note: If an athlete that is eligible to compete in the NWYI Fast Track pool ends up in the Top 1-4 on the WCRA Leaderboard, they advance directly to the main event and are not eligible to compete in the Fast Track pool).

  1. If the winning header AND heeler did NOT nominate at a NWYI event – no athletes advance to the WRWC fast track pool from that event.
  2. If a winning header OR heeler nominated the NWYI event, but their partner did NOT nominate, the winning athlete that NOMINATED will advance to the fast track pool.
  3. For example, the header nominated the event and won, but the heeler did not nominate. The header will advance.
  4. Then, the highest placing nominated heeler from that event will advance.
  5. If there is not a placing nominated heeler to fill that position, then the partner will be filled from the 5 – 64 ranked athletes from the W20 Leaderboard as of Oct. 11 at 11:59pmCT.

Open and Incentive Nominations

  1. For events that have an Open and Incentive class, if an athlete has entered both classes, they have the option to nominate the event twice to be eligible to receive the NWYI qualifications from each class.
  2. If the athlete chooses to nominate the event once, then they are eligible to receive one qualification from either the Open or Incentive class.
OPEN POOLS

Athletes are eligible to receive one qualification into the Main Event of the Women’s Rodeo World Championship. Multiple entries are permitted in the qualifying rounds. For more information about how many times an athlete can enter in each round, refer to the ground rules.

Athletes will also have an opportunity to earn a spot in the main event through the “Open to the World Qualifying Pools”, which will be placed into pro and challenger divisions. All athletes in the Open to the World Qualifying Pools will compete in two rounds of competition with 18 athletes per pool advancing to the progressive round. Those who do not advance to the progressive round have the option to re-enter in a redemption round. ENTER HERE
