The Event will pay out over $360,000:

• $40,000 guaranteed payout per discipline with no entry fees.
• $15,000 to each discipline champion ($2500 increase from 2021)

    • 4^TH – $1,000 (guaranteed appearance fee)
    • 5^TH – $1,000 (guaranteed appearance fee)
    • 6^TH – $1,000 (guaranteed appearance fee)
    • 7^TH – $1,000 (guaranteed appearance fee)
  • TRIPLE CROWN OF RODEO ROUND (per disciplines)
    • 1^ST – $15,000
    • 2^ND – $6,500
    • 3^RD – $2,500 (guaranteed appearance fee)

Top two from each qualifying round advance to the December 17 Showdown Round while the top three from each discipline advance to the Triple Crown of Rodeo Round following the Showdown Round.

WCRA VRQ Segment FW22 (Fort Worth 2022) is currently open for nominations. Segment FW22, WCRA Cowtown Christmas Championship will close on Sunday November 27, 2022, at 11:59:59PM CT.

The Top 24 athletes from the Segment FW22 Leaderboard as of November 27 at 11:59 p.m. CT in the following disciplines will be eligible participate at WCRA Cowtown Christmas Championship – Bareback Riding, Women’s Breakaway Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping (Heading and Heeling), Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding

Number 1 on the WCRA Segment FW22 Leaderboard will be seeded into the Showdown Round.  The Number 1 on the WCRA Leaderboard may participate in the Qualifying Rounds of competition for prize money and will not jeopardize their seeded position
