Cattle will be drawn at least two hours prior to the start of the competition.
Splits must be submitted no less than one hour before competition begins.

Rodeo North Carolina is designated as an American Contender Tournament qualifying event, which means that winners who enter the qualifier in the Breakaway Roping, Tie Down Roping, and Steer Wrestling can earn an automatic advancement status to the American Contender Tournament East Regional Semi- Finals at All- Tech Arena in Lexington, KY, January 25-27, 2024. All underage athletes are required to complete the Minor release form. Form can be completed on site or sent in advance to [email protected].
Those who qualify will be required to pay a $300 entry fee (100% payback). The event will be one round of competition and is highlighted by $28,600 added money ($2,600 added per discipline) with each event champion taking home a minimum of $2,000.
