Riding an unbelievable wave of momentum, RC Landingham (Hat Creek, California) could make western sports history as he caps off a dominant 2022 Triple Crown of Rodeo series by winning the Triple Crown of Rodeo: a $1 million bonus to any one athlete or collection of athletes who win first place in any three consecutive majors.

The landmark event will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 14, showcasing more than 200 athletes competing in each of the nine rodeo disciplines: bareback riding, women’s breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping heading, team roping heeling, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding. A collective $360,000 will be on the line, and each champion will be awarded a check for $15,000.
